The Wolfe Tones football club was founded in 1957 by a diverse group from the 4 corners of Ireland, and today this is still a feature of our club. The Wolfe Tones were successful at local level and we achieved our first North American League success in 1978.

Since 1978 The Wolfe Tones have been the most successful club in North America. There has been and always will be much pride and discussion about the great players and teams that have won 13 American League titles since 1978.

On the 24th of November 2007 50 years of memories, events, tales and stories, will be echoed in the friendly confines of Chicago’s Gaelic Park, to celebrate what has been 50 years of bringing Irish culture and history to the Midwest.
This club has built and nurtured a community from Ireland’s 32, that has been respected both off and on the field throughout the North American States.
